My running career has it’s roots in my gym going days. I used to run from medical res in UCT to the gym in middle campus as warm up, and back to res as cool down. That lead me to trying out the Two Oceans half marathon in 2010 which I finished in 2:21 without a formal plan. I resumed running in 2017 to get lean for a bodybuilding competition. That is when the bug bit. I stopped bodybuilding and kept running.
